Oxo Tower Wharf
September 4 to September 8, 2019
PV: September 5th, 6 to 9 pm
A River Runs Through It, is a unique art exhibition celebrating London, September 4-8 gallery@oxo on the South Bank. 2019 sees the 4th edition of our self-funded show, visited by more than 12,000 people in the last three years.
See the Oxo Tower made out of Oxo cubes, light installations depicting the London skyline; delicate paper sculptures; wafer-thin aluminium art; breathtaking abstract landscapes, spectacular screenprints, and even bottled London smells!
This year we are especially keen to make it our best show yet. Partly because we are partners of Totally Thames 2019, the fantastic river festival. But also because we will be raising money for the inspirational London’s Air Ambulance at our Private View on Thursday September 5th. We will be selling our specially designed TOTEally Thames tote bags as well as raffling our art and top ‘London’ prizes and experiences. Visitors will be asked to donate £2 to enter the raffle, the more they pay the more entries they can have!
We are also collaborating with Jonny Concrete, maker of gorgeous concrete furniture. Jonny creates doorstops from the leftover concrete which he hides around London. We will be decorating our own and leaving them around the city for people to find. Finders keepers! First one was hidden yesterday!
Over the last few years we have put our heart and soul into creating a unique art experience, an experience open to everyone.
