The 508 Gallery are delighted to present an engaging and uplifting exhibition Infinite Possibilities by our popular artist Laura Fishman. This November the 508 Gallery aims to showcase a range of Laura’s styles from Abstract Expressionism to pour painting.
Laura received her BFA in Painting in New York, and MA in Fine Art at Middlesex University, London. She was mentored by renowned artist Joop Sanders, apprentice of Willem de Kooning, both founding members of the American Abstract Expressionist group. The influence they had on Laura’s work can be seen in the bold and intuitive style of her work.
Laura has since been a contestant of Sky Arts, Landscape Artist of the Year 2017 and has acquired the hearts of Chelsea folk, with multiple exhibitions with the 508 Gallery.
Laura’s inspiration rises from her love of nature and a passion for experimenting with mixed materials. As a result, her paintings share a dynamic use of colour, texture and movement whilst mimicking organic patterns in nature. Embracing the substance and textural properties of acrylic paint, Laura brings Infinite Possibilities to the Kings Road.
