‘Where you are not’ is group exhibition of 8 contemporary artists working across photography, painting and sculpture, explored through their use of the colour blue. The artists have exhibited across the world at prestigious events such as Frieze & Unseen, and feature in many international collections. The artists are Tess Williams, Florence Sweeney, Tom Pope, Matilda Little, Maddie Rose Hills, Alexander Mourant, Simone Mudde & Katrina Russell-Adams.
Due to Copeland Gallery’s generous sponsorship, this exhibition has been organised without artist fees or commission in a genuine attempt champion the work without financial motive.
There will be daily events in the gallery. Two big events to note are an artist talk at 4pm on Saturday 28th chaired by artist, writer, curator and Course Director of Fine Art Photography at Camberwell College of Arts, Duncan Wooldridge, titled On Blue and Photography with Tom Pope, Alexander Mourant & Simone Mudde in conversation
As well as a Delphian Gallery ‘Late’, at 6pm Friday 27th; an evening of talks about the art world presented by Delphian. For the full list of events, please see the exhibition website.
