Sign up for a very special creative ARTconnects workshop to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
Run by International artist and activist Salma Zulfiqar -the workshop on Friday 22 November will use a combination of art, conversation and networking to connect women from diverse backgrounds through creative expression. You will create your own artwork and engage in discussion on how we can make women safer in our communities. This is a free event for young women and adults to create a safe space for sharing.
The work of award-winning artist and peace activist Salma Zulfiqar (http://www.salmazulfiqar.com) has also been celebrated in a new book: Once Upon in Birmingham: Women Who Dared to Dream.
